Bartender

Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The successful will thrive in a team-oriented environment and possess excellent time management skills.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours, including nightclubs or restaurant settings

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems like Toast POS and Clover POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management (retail math knowledge is advantageous)
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Ability to serve drinks quickly while maintaining quality standards in fast-paced settings such as nightclubs or banquet events
• Experience with brewing or catering services is beneficial but not required
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation to collaborate effectively within the hospitality environment

Pay: $9.00 - $21.00 per hour
