Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times
• Manage multiple responsibilities including serving drinks, taking food orders, and assisting with banquet or nightclub events as needed
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment; collaborate with security staff during busy nights or special events in nightclubs or banquet settings
• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies; assist with restocking and proper storage procedures

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods smoothly
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse patrons in retail math, hospitality, or food industry settings
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience working in nightclubs or banquet settings is preferred; retail math skills are beneficial for accurate cashiering
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a lively, positive attitude
