Bartender

Le Chateau is a private events-only space located in South Salem, NY - just over the Ridgefield CT border.

We are looking for engaging, professional and high-energy Bartenders to join our experienced events team.

Le Chateau is a part of a larger group of privately owned venues under the umbrella of Fairfield Catering Group. Our family-owned and operated group of facilities has 40+ years of experience and offers peace of mind, plus an additional layer of professionalism to everything we do.

HOURS

This is an hourly position with the potential of up to 30 - 40 hours in the peak season (May - November), but we also have events year-round. We have available shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sunday evenings.

REQUIREMENTS

• TIPS certification and previous bartending experience required
• Professional, outgoing and friendly demeanor
• Comfortable interacting with event guests and co-workers
• Ability to follow direction and move in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to stand for a shift lasting 8 hours
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Please have reliable transportation. WE ARE LOCATED IN SOUTH SALEM, NY (Northern Westchester).

POSITION DETAILS

• Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every guest
• Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
• Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist guests and team members
• Keep glasses, bar equipment, and working areas clean and organized
• Set bars prior to each event; clean bars immediately following each event.
• A hot meal is provided during each event shift

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
