Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a laid back, relaxed and personable bartender to join our family supper club, The Old Feed Mill in Mazomanie, WI. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, supporting every guest to feel welcomed and valued. This position offers a relaxing, non-stress, personable opportunity to earn extra money working with co-workers who are kind, gracious and helpful to each other. $18/hour plus tips.

NOTE: Under new federal law, you can deduct all tip earnings up to the IRS maximum limit, and choose to take home all earned tips.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with humor and relaxed conversation, ensuring consistency and quality of every drink.
• Greet guests when they first arrive and engage with guests in a friendly, casual manner.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) system such as Aloha and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth operation throughout busy hours.

Qualifications

• Bartender, in any environment: home, volunteer, fine dining, nightlife venues, or catering environments; banquet experience is good.
• Demonstrated reliable attendance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for 4 hours.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, tips, and inventory counts
• Desire to learn and become solid with drink mixing ability and knowledge.
• Knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing processes, and alcohol regulations; cocktail mixing skills are always helpful.
• Bartender license is a plus, or we can help you get one.
