Position Overview:

As a Bartender at Birdeez, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service while crafting creative cocktails, pouring drinks, and ensuring the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and ready to meet the needs of our guests. You'll be an integral part of the fun and vibrant environment we strive to create, whether guests are relaxing after a round of mini-golf, enjoying a darts game, participating in trivia, or dining in our full-service restaurant. Your ability to multitask, interact with guests, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting will be key to your success in this role.

Schedule:

We're hiring 1-2 Bartenders to fill open spots on our roster. Multiple shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails, craft beers, wine, and classic drinks, with precision and flair.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, approachable manner. Offer drink recommendations, answer questions about the drink menu, and ensure guests have a great experience, whether they’re enjoying a game of mini-golf, darts, or a quiz night.
• Service Excellence: Provide prompt, courteous, and attentive service at all times. Ensure that every guest feels valued and taken care of, whether they're ordering drinks at the bar or relaxing at their table.
• Technology Integration: Help guests navigate the technology-driven darts systems and assist with setting up or troubleshooting if necessary. Ensure all gaming areas (mini-golf, darts, and quiz room) are integrated into the overall guest experience.
• Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and ensure all areas of the bar are prepared for high-traffic times.
• Quality Control: Ensure drinks are prepared to the highest standards, adhering to company recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Teamwork: Work closely with other team members, including the kitchen staff and servers, to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the venue. Assist with food service when needed and collaborate to meet guest needs.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process transactions, including cash, credit cards, and tips, and handle payments according to company policies.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure responsible alcohol service, following all local laws and regulations regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol. Keep current on health and safety standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous bartending experience is preferred, especially in a high-volume or hospitality-driven environment. Experience in entertainment venues or locations with gaming options (such as darts or mini-golf) is a plus.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of drink recipes, excellent multitasking abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with technology-driven games like darts or a willingness to learn is beneficial.
• Personality: Friendly, outgoing, and adaptable with a positive attitude and a strong desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (e.g., kegs, boxes of supplies), and perform repetitive tasks.
• Licensing: Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid AAT card.

Job Type: Part-time
