Bartender

Cafe 422 Warren is searching for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time bartender to join our team! This is a fast-paced restaurant environment with a strong focus on hospitality. As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing full service to our bar patrons as well as pouring and mixing other tables’ drinks. Only applicants with an extensive background in mixology and full availability on the weekends will be considered for this position. The ideal candidate would share a strong passion for food, cocktails, wine, and customer service! Any banquet and private event experience is also appreciated.

Must be over 21 and have 2+ years of experience bartending to apply

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed to maintain stock.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of patrons.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Connect with our marketing team and create monthly drink menus.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of retail math for managing cash flow and inventory effectively.
• Experience in nightclub or bar settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with brewing processes is a plus.
• Proficient in using Heartland/Genius POS or similar point-of-sale systems for efficient order processing.
• Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• An understanding of food service operations and food safety standards is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $10.75 per hour
