Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering to ensure smooth operations
• Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying guest IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable, especially during catering or banquet events
• Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, beverage preparation, and sanitation standards
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a strong understanding of the food industry
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate sales processing
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and alcohol service regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately
• Experience in food safety practices including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and guests seamlessly
• Knowledge of catering setups and banquet service operations is a plus
