Job Overview
EVOO is seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. We are a busy new Greek/Mediterranean concept on Cleveland's eastside and we are in need of experienced hospitality professionals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end while maintaining accuracy in retail math calculations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery in fine dining or nightclub settings.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, particularly within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create a lively yet professional atmosphere.
• Effective time management skills to handle busy shifts while maintaining high standards of service.
• Familiarity with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
