Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
  • Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering, banquet, or nightclub events to meet guest expectations
  • Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods efficiently

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and food industry measurements
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing or bartending fundamentals
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events
