Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests. This is a fast-paced and demanding role that requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Manage cash handling and operate a cash register accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and interacting with guests, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including polishing glasses and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.
- Assist with banquet and catering events as needed, including serving and expediting food and drinks.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed in the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests and colleagues to build a positive and welcoming environment.
- Manage time effectively to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and that guests receive prompt and attentive service.
- Provide support to other staff members as needed, including helping with tasks such as restocking supplies and cleaning the bar area.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar environment.
- Strong knowledge of brewing and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive guest experience.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment and manage time effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
