Bartender

Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Entry‑Level Bartender to join our team. We will train the right person. You should be eager to learn basic drink recipes, provide warm customer service, work well in a busy environment, and help keep the bar area clean and organized. As an Entry‑Level Bartender, you’ll support the team by preparing standard cocktails and beverages, taking orders, handling payments, and creating a welcoming experience for guests while following safety and service standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Familiarity with sales techniques and retail math for managing inventory and sales reports.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required.
