Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and related products.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to strict food safety and food handling standards.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, especially during busy nightclub or banquet events, while providing excellent customer service.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages regularly to ensure smooth operations during shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet services, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and food industry calculations are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; experience with cashiering is a plus.
- Previous hospitality experience in brewing or food service environments is advantageous; catering or banquet experience is desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or late-night shifts as required in a lively nightclub or hospitality setting.
