Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties, balancing registers, and managing tips.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling and retail math is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Demonstrated ability to serve responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory management; experience with food handling is a plus.
- Knowledge of the food industry, including brewing processes or catering services, is beneficial for versatile service delivery.
