Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems like Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end with basic math skills.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when needed, including serving food at bar or during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments using strong time management skills.
• Experience with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures is required.
• Knowledge of the food industry, beverage trends, brewing processes, and retail math enhances your ability to excel in this role.
• Prior roles involving serving at restaurants or catering events provide valuable experience in hospitality and customer service excellence.
