- Guest Engagement & Hospitality: Act as a guide for our guests by demonstrating deep menu knowledge, helping them navigate food and beverage selections, upselling pairings, and making every guest feel genuinely cared for.
- Food Service: Take precise food orders at the bar top, showcasing strong knowledge of our Sushi, Washoku, and Teppanyaki menus to deliver a seamless dining experience at the bar.
- Bar Operations & Upkeep: Maintain a meticulously clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment before, during, and after shifts, ensuring speed and efficiency.
- Beverage Prep: Assist in prepping fresh juices, custom syrups, and high-quality garnishes required for our seasonal craft cocktail menu.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to all company, local, and state standards for responsible alcohol service, including checking IDs and monitoring consumption.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of high-volume craft bartending experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment.
- Technique: A strong foundation in classic cocktail execution, proper shaking/stirring techniques, precise pouring, and clean workspace management.
- Passion for Learning: Knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn) Japanese spirits, premium sakés, and unique Asian flavor profiles.
- Service Well Speed: Ability to handle a heavy ticket volume for the floor service well while simultaneously engaging with and taking care of bar-top dining guests.
