Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled craft focused Bartender to join our dynamic team in a casual fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining, or mixology focused settings and possess a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods.
• Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in the beverage industry, and local craft brews to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in fine dining, catering, or nightclub environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing methods and cocktail mixing.
• Excellent math skills for cash handling and inventory management; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
