Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Serve tables as assigned, and collaborate with servers on the floor.
• Ensure orders rang in to the bar for tables are made, and delivered in a timely manner.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized drink recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area; including glassware, bar top utensils, and coolers, and dump sinks.
• Manage POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure ticket accuracy.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Restock bar supplies proactively, including garnishes, mixers, and beverages, to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for special food requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, restaurants, or bar is desirable. Restaurant/server experience preffered.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Lemi for order processing.
• Cashier or cash handling experience, with basic math skills for accuracy.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders.
• Make drinks for bar and restaurant guests, as well as taking care of your own guests swiftly during dinner rush without compromising quality.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food/alcohol safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations and local laws.
• Servsafe or TIPS certification required within 30 days of starting job.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• NIGHTS, WEEKENDS(FRI, SAT, SUN) AND HOLIDAYS REQUIRED
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred; food industry experience is required.
