Role Summary
We’re hiring experienced bartenders to work both public nightclub nights and private events (buyouts, corporate functions, birthdays, etc.). You’ll deliver exceptional, quick, and consistent beverage service, drive sales through suggestive selling, uphold ABC/RBS and venue policies, and help maintain an efficient, clean, and safe bar operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Service & Sales
- Greet guests warmly; take and fulfill drink orders accurately and quickly.
- Prepare classic and house cocktails, beer, wine, N/A beverages to spec.
- Execute high‑volume service during peak rushes while maintaining quality.
- Upsell premium spirits, features, and bottles; support table service as needed.
- Handle cash/credit transactions, close tabs, and reconcile bank accurately.
- Bar Operations
- Set up and break down stations; restock product, ice, glassware, and disposables.
- Maintain bar cleanliness and organization to health code standards.
- Perform counts, assist with inventory, and communicate low‑stock needs.
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies; check IDs and manage cut‑offs.
- Event Execution
- Adapt to varied formats (hosted bars, drink tickets, cash bars, satellite bars).
- Arrive event‑ready with station mise en place; execute timelines and runsheet.
- Coordinate with Event Lead, Security, and VIP Hosts on flow and service levels.
- Support specialty menus or batch programs for speed and consistency.
- Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to ABC regulations, RBS training, and venue security protocols.
- Maintain safe work practices; immediately escalate guest safety concerns.
- Follow opening/closing checklists and incident reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Required
- 1+ year high‑volume bartending experience (nightlife, music venue, stadium, or equivalent).
- Valid RBS/Responsible Beverage Service certification (or ability to obtain before start).
- Age 21+.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in loud environments.
- Weekend/late‑night availability; reliable transportation.
- Preferred
- Experience with private/catered events, POS systems (e.g., Toast/Square/ALOHA).
- Cocktail knowledge (builds, batching, garnishes) and speed‑rail organization.
- Familiarity with bottle service and VIP operations.

Schedule & Pay
- Schedule: Evenings/nights; primarily Fri–Sun plus select weekdays for private events.
- Eligible for overtime where applicable under local/state law.

- Shift meal/drink (non‑alcoholic) policy per venue guidelines
- Staff guest list/industry nights (where applicable)
- On‑the‑job training; cross‑training for barback or floor support
