Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks or specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process payments efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and utensils, to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable; assist with catering or banquet events to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining environments or nightclubs; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
