Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred, along with proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, sales skills, and knowledge of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and promote drink specials
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and adherence to alcohol service policies
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service when applicable
• Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during service
• Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions
• Follow all health regulations related to food safety and responsible alcohol service

Skills

• Proven experience in bartending within restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating drink recipes
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality operations
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
• Previous experience in fine dining or catering environments is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
