Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and transactions.
• Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure seamless service.
• Handle customer inquiries about drink options, specials, and menu items confidently while promoting sales.
• Assist in setting up catering events or banquet functions when required, providing excellent serving and hospitality services.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining, nightclub, or catering is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy.
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or retail experience is advantageous.
• Certification in food safety or responsible beverage service is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held. Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hour
