Bartender

Job Summary
The Club Golf + Bar is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Bartender to join our team - experience is preferred but not required - 21+ to apply! The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and is willing to learn. You may be required to help customers get set up at their golf bay, so computer/technology knowledge is needed (any knowledge about golf is also a plus!). As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the bar's efficiency and cleanliness while adhering to all safety and health regulations. You will be required to learn how to set customers up with golf simulator bays if they need help, and to help book tee times on the daily schedule.

As a popular and new Downtown Wilson establishment, we are looking for the perfect person to complete our lively team! The Wilson Warbirds MiLB team is making their debut season right down the road, and we expect a high volume of customers!

*Must have open availability for day or night shifts. This can be discussed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when catering events.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Skills

• Strong cash handling abilities with experience in restaurant or retail environments.
• Proficient in restaurant math for accurate order processing and inventory management.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
• Experience in catering services is a plus.
• Background in food service or fine dining is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
