Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, including nightclubs, banquets, or catering events.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using strong time management skills.
• Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws; certifications related to alcohol service are a plus.
• Familiarity with food industry terminology, brewing processes, catering setups, and banquet operations is advantageous.
