Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and customer-focused Hotel Bartender who is also capable of preparing and cooking food using a conventional oven. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent beverage service, preparing simple meals and snacks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards.
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items using a conventional oven and other kitchen equipment as required.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of both bar and kitchen work areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
- Assist with setting up and closing bar and kitchen operations.
- Work collaboratively with hotel staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender is required.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking is preferred.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to operate a conventional oven and basic kitchen equipment safely.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
