Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage Square POS system for accurate order processing and billing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible serving practices and prevent over-service
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bar ensuring timely delivery
• Barista skills and wine knowledge are a plus
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems (Square)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
