Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS system like Toast is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service and enhance their experience
- Use POS systems such as Toast for order entry and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol serving policies
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashing out customers and balancing registers
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or catering functions
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in various settings including nightclubs, fine dining establishments, or retail venues
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by hospitality schedules
- Experience in brewing or beverage crafting is a plus but not mandatory
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment
