Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accountability for all sales.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during serving and preparation.
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age laws and responsible serving practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service coordination during busy periods like banquets or catering events.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality.
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to increase sales while providing exceptional customer service.
• Support team members during high-volume shifts in nightclubs or busy restaurant settings to maintain a lively yet safe environment.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through strong time management skills.
• Experience in food service or hospitality environments that demand excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Background in retail math or basic math skills necessary for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Prior experience with catering events or banquet service is advantageous but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or brewing environments.
