Bartender

Job Overview

***** Looking for an experienced, fast-paced bartender. Our bar can get two or three people deep, so you need to be quick and able to handle high volume. If you can’t keep up when it’s slammed, this isn’t the job for you. Must be available weekends and holidays. Fun, energetic spot with live music, karaoke, and a busy patio seven nights a week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with legal alcohol service regulations.
• Assist in food service by serving snacks or small plates when required, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, utilizing retail math skills.
• Support night club or banquet events by catering to large groups with professionalism and efficiency.
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.

Experience

• Previous experience in bar establishments or nightclubs is essential
• Proven background in food service or hospitality roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and cash handling.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
