Bartender

Hourly Wage: $10/Hour starting wage. Bartenders average between $20 - $24/hour with tips. Tips will primarily be paid on bi-weekly paycheck, unless tip is in cash.

Midland Country Club is now hiring experienced bartenders to complete our bar staff. We are a private country club, serving both a high-end and family-centered membership.

Must have experience in a full service facility, reliable references and a "hospitality based attitude" to join our team. We offer a professional environment, above average earnings, golf privileges (on Mondays), employee meals and benefits for full time employees.

Job Duties

• Bartend in multiple different areas ranging from the main bar and our downstairs lounge, to golf events, to private banquet functions
• Organize and clean liquor and beer rooms, ensuring that items are being put away properly and rotated as needed
• Keep work areas clean and stocked for the shift
• Always remain professional and polite to members while at the club
• Have a thorough knowledge of mixology
• Perform duties requested by a manager

Bartender is responsible for safely serving guests. Alcohol Awareness is an important aspect of the job.

Must be able to push or lift ~40 lbs.

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
• Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
• Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
• Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
• Other duties as requested
