Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, following food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service requests, catering events, or banquet setups to provide seamless service.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
• Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Experience with serving at events like catering or in the food industry that demand quick thinking and adaptability. Pay: $16.30 - $27.32 per hour
