Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and exciting
• Ensure responsible serving by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods, including catering events and banquets

Skills

• Extensive cocktail experience with knowledge of beverage recipe development and presentation techniques
• Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience in fine dining settings, catering, or banquet environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine varieties, brewing processes, craft beer trends, and food safety practices
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations
• Previous bar management or serving experience preferred; familiarity with food handling standards is a plus
