Requirements: We are looking for candidates with open availability, which means you are able to work lunch, dinner, and late-night shifts anytime during the week and weekend. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Duties

• Greet bar guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about our cocktail, tequila, and food offerings with enthusiasm.
• Prepare and serve margaritas, classic cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe and presentation standards.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems and manage bar tabs and service well tickets for the dining room.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked bar — restock liquor, garnishes, glassware, and ice throughout service.
• Upsell premium spirits and specialty cocktails through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, tab management, and processing payments with POS systems.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve responsibly, checking IDs and refusing service when appropriate.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the drink and food menus, ingredients, and allergens to provide informed recommendations.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Follow all sanitation procedures, proper handling techniques, and health regulations for bar and food service.
• Complete all in-house opening, closing, and inventory procedures to keep the bar clean and efficient.

Skills

• Proven bartending experience, especially in high-volume, fine dining, or nightlife settings.
• Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail recipes, tequila and mezcal, and proper pouring techniques.
• Valid alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with POS systems including SpotOn.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Excellent time management skills to handle a full bar and service tickets during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper handling techniques.
• Ability to upsell confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and tab splitting.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with servers and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
