Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Serve food and drinks with precision, including cocktail service and beverage presentation, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Manage multiple tables efficiently by prioritizing tasks, ensuring prompt service, and attending to guest needs throughout their visit
• Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other sales transaction tools, and provide correct change
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation when needed

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining environment is highly preferred
• Proven ability to upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and cocktails while maintaining excellent customer relations
• Demonstrated skills in time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or cashiering enhances your ability to deliver exceptional hospitality
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail mixing techniques, and beverage service standards is highly desirable

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
