Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing bar operations. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or casual dining settings is highly valued. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, POS systems, and food safety standards to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

Pay

• 10 per hour plus tips.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems.
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while ensuring accurate transactions.
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages during shifts.
• Handle food service responsibilities including serving snacks or small plates when applicable.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by verifying guest identification and adhering to legal drinking age laws.
• Assist with events as needed, providing seamless beverage service in various settings.
• Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling and beverage preparation.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet service, or food industry environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making accurate change.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced hospitality settings including restaurants, bars, or catering events.
• Experience with basic wine regions, classic cocktails, and beer is mandatory.
