Bartender and Server

McAvoy’s Sports Bar & Grill has been a Parkville staple for over 30 years. We’re a high-energy neighborhood sports bar known for wings, crabs, cheesesteaks, burgers, live bands, and loyal regulars. We’re looking for motivated bartenders and servers who can handle volume, create great guest experiences, and move with urgency.

Position Overview

We are hiring experienced Bartenders and Servers who can provide fast, friendly, and efficient service in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities Bartenders

• Prepare and serve alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintain clean and organized bar area
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Engage with guests and build repeat clientele
• Monitor guest intoxication levels
• Assist with bar prep and closing duties

Servers

• Greet guests promptly and take food & drink orders
• Provide menu knowledge and upsell specials
• Deliver food accurately and efficiently
• Ensure tables are clean and reset quickly
• Handle payments and maintain accurate tabs
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience preferred (but strong personalities welcome)
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability required
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 21+ for bartender position

Pay: From $3.63 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
