Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Bilingual a Plus!
  • Take food orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with customers, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations through upselling techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Assist in food preparation and handling to support kitchen staff when needed while ensuring proper food safety practices are followed.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during shifts, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms.
  • Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tables, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring timely service delivery in both fine dining and nightlife settings.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service roles such as bartender, server, or host/hostess within restaurant or nightclub environments.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs confidently.
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales while providing genuine recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations within the food industry.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing.

Pay: $300.00 - $2,100.00 per week
