Bartender and/or Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender or Server with at least two years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable in mixology, and committed to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You must hold a valid Food Handler's Certificate and an RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification in compliance with local and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders and serve drinks or food when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the restaurant.
• Check customer identification and ensure guests meet legal drinking age requirements.
• Handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary in accordance with RBS training.
• Restock inventory and supplies, and report low stock levels.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of bartending or Server experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Valid Food Handler's Certificate.
• RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification (California state requirement).
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume or upscale venue.
• Creative input on seasonal or signature drink menus.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
