Bartender at littlefield

Littlefield is looking for a weekend and late night weekend bartender with a strong background in cocktails and experience working in high volume situations. We are a premier independent performance and art space located in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

Our ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, clean, punctual and able to handle multiple drink orders. For intimate events, you are expected to work by yourself without a bar back; for bigger events, you are expected to work with other bartenders and share responsibilities behind the bar.

As part of this job, you will be asked to help bartend at our sister restaurant Parklife. Additional bartending shifts may be available so please inquire if interested.

Knowledge of classic cocktails is absolutely required (if you're rusty, this is not the job to get back on the horse). All of our signature cocktails must be jiggered for consistency. Applicants with NYC Food Handler's Permit will be preferred.

This is a part time position with at least 2 shifts per week. Hourly pay rate is $12 plus shared tips so your minimum hourly pay will be $17 with potential of making upwards of $45 hourly. Shifts vary in length depending on the event, anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours.

Please do not apply if you are not available to work Fridays and Saturdays until 4am and on Sunday evenings.
