Bartender at Midtown - St Louis Lamber Airport
TheMidtown is looking for an experienced **Bartender** to join our team! We’re known for our lively atmosphere, guest-focused service, and **handcrafted cocktails made with care**. If you’re passionate about mixology and love creating memorable guest experiences, we want to hear from you. For this position, pay will be variable by location – plus generous tips.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Taking orders and serving drinks and food to bar customers
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while following recipes and/or product directions for mixing beverages
- Nurturing customers to provide exceptional guest experience
- Follows all OHM customer service, adult beverage and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
- Ensures a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
- Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- Requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation keeping updated on new and revised beverage recipes
- Can communicate effectively in English
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Professional and positive disposition
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
