Bartender at SFO Airport ($20.10) Thursday - Monday 12pm-8pm,

Valencia Street Station is looking for an experienced Bartender. The Bartender is the guest relations ambassador that ensures guests enjoy a memorable experience.

Shifts: 5 days shift

Thursday- Monday 12:00pm-8:00pm

The ideal candidate must be able to multitask to work in sync with the front-of-the-house and kitchen teams. The ideal candidate must possess a good work ethic and professionalism and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

· Create craft cocktails following restaurant standards

· Explain menu items and specials in a clear and professional manner

· Take orders effectively and communicate with kitchen staff and floor support

· Maintain a clean area and organized area; complete assigned side work

· ensure our guests have the best dining experience during their visit

Requirements:

Must have at least two years of bartending experience in a restaurant setting

· Must be knowledgeable of POS and cash handling procedures; Toast POS preferred

· Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Open availability is a plus

· Knowledgeable about different wines, beers, and spirits

Qualifications:

· Must have great communication and listening skills

· Must be proactive and a problem solver

· Must be able to follow instructions and have attention to detail

Strongly Preferred:

· Previous craft cocktail bartending experience

· Previous server/bar restaurant experience, a plus

Classification & Compensation:

· $20.10 /hr + Tips

· This is a full-time/part-time position

· Medical benefits- full time

Supervision:

This position is supervised by General Manager.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation:

· Must be able to physically stand and move during the length of shift, able to bend, kneel through the shift

· Must be able to carry up to 40 pounds, as needed
