The Role

We’re looking for a Bartender or Bar Manager who brings both skill and heart to their work.

This role centers on bartending and guest experience, with an emphasis on thoughtful interaction, attention to detail, and contributing to the overall energy of the space. You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about creating a welcoming, inclusive environment while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced setting.

For candidates with prior bar management experience, there is an opportunity to step into a more elevated role. This may include supporting bar operations, contributing to menu development, helping guide service standards, and collaborating with ownership on the continued evolution of Clara’s bar program.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Take food and drink orders with care, clarity, and timeliness
  • Use the Toast POS system for orders, payments, and tab management
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar and service area in line with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Engage guests warmly and professionally, contributing to a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere
  • Manage bar guests and service tickets while staying attentive and detail-oriented
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately
  • Restock bar and prep bar supplies (glassware, garnishes, spirits, etc.)
  • Practice responsible alcohol service in compliance with all local and state regulations
  • Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, managers, and support staff
  • Support smooth service during busy nights, live music, and special events

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience in a craft cocktail setting
  • BASSET certification (required upon hire)
  • Comfort using POS systems (Toast experience is a plus)
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Friendly, professional communication style
  • Knowledge of food safety and proper handling procedures
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • A team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed
  • An appreciation for music! It's a huge part of our culture

Bonus Experience (Not Required, But Loved)

  • Bar management or hospitality leadership experience
  • Sommelier training or wine knowledge
  • Cocktail creation or menu development experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 24 per week
