Bartender (Dayshift & Graveyard available)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender (Dayshift & Graveyard available) to join our dynamic team in a lively nightlife environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience during late-night hours. Previous experience is required, along with familiarity with POS systems and understand gaming (payouts, comping etc.). There is also a small cooking component to this shift (Graveyard only), very easy to do. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time management, sales abilities, and food safety knowledge to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS and be familiar with Gaming.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service tailored to nightlife or banquet environments.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Restock supplies as needed and ensure all beverages are prepared according to standard recipes.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during late-night shifts.
• Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions when required.
• Uphold all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Experience

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Familiarity with POS systems such is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food safety, serving techniques, and beverage preparation.
• Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
• Background in hospitality or food service roles that involve customer interaction and sales skills.
• Knowledge of brewing processes or catering services is a plus but not required.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy night shifts.
• Ability to work independently during late-night hours while maintaining high standards of service. Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
