Bartender (Experience Required – PART-TIME )

El Don Cocina & Cantina, our innovative Mexican cantina, is seeking an PART-TIME experienced Bartender to join our team. This role is all about crafting signature cocktails and delivering an immersive drinking experience that highlights the bold flavors of Mexico.

Important:
This is not an entry-level position. Please apply only if you have solid bartending experience (minimum 1–2 years) and can confidently perform advanced techniques such as double shaking, building layered cocktails, and mastering proper dilution and balance.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails with consistency and precision.
• Execute advanced bartending techniques (e.g., shaking, stirring, layering) to ensure top-quality drinks.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging guests and enhancing their experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist in developing and refining cocktail recipes in line with our Mexican-inspired menu.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, craft-cocktail environment.
• Comfortable with techniques such as:
• Double shaking and stirring
• Building layered drinks and garnishes
• Balancing cocktails for flavor and texture
• Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, tequila, mezcal, and agave-based drinks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay composed during busy shifts.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Passion for Mexican flavors and cocktail culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
