Position Summary

A Bartender at The Inverness is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by preparing and serving food and beverages in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This role plays a key part in creating memorable guest experiences while upholding Hilton brand standards, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and ensuring compliance with all alcohol service regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and Hilton brand standards
• Provide attentive, courteous, and personalized service to hotel guests and members
• Accurately process guest orders and payments using the POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including stocking, inventory, and sanitation
• Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local and state laws
• Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in a hotel or guest focused hospitality environment
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per local/state regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Hilton or comparable branded hotel
• TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent certification
• Familiarity with POS systems
