About the Role
We are looking for a strong bartender and floor supervisor to help lead front-of-house operations at Tallow 52 and Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ on Milwaukee’s East Side. This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role focused on guest experience, bar execution, team communication, and nightly floor operations.

This position works between both concepts and helps create an energetic, organized, and hospitality-driven atmosphere during lunch, dinner, late night, live music, sports events, and private events.

Responsibilities

Bartend and execute cocktails, beer, wine, and service tickets efficiently
Provide high-level guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere
Lead front-of-house operations during shifts
Assist with floor supervision, team communication, and service flow
Support servers, bartenders, hosts, and counter staff during busy periods
Monitor cleanliness, organization, side work, and closing duties
Handle guest concerns professionally and help resolve issues quickly
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and nightly reports
Maintain liquor, beer, and bar inventory levels
Help execute events, live music nights, sports events, and late-night service
Ensure staff follows company standards, appearance, and service expectations
Communicate with kitchen and management teams throughout service

Requirements

Must have a current Wisconsin Bartending License
Previous bartending experience required
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong hospitality and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, whiskey, tequila, and bar operations preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Weekend and night availability required
