bartender / front of house

Spitz Woodbury is hiring for our Bartender / front of house position.

We are a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant with a full bar. Customers come in and order food and drink at the counter or bar.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: entering the customers order into the pos (Toast), making drinks, running food to the guests tables as well as bussing. This is a all things front of house position. Prior bartending experience not required but must be able to follow recipes, move quickly and be willing to learn.

This is a tipped position. Bartenders keep 65% of all tips and 35% is split between the kitchen staff. Typical tips per hour for bartenders are $15-$25 depending on the shifts which is in addition to the hourly wage.

Typical shifts: Lunch is 10am to 4pm, Dinner is 4pm to 10pm

Weekends are required. Friday Saturday and Sunday (at least 2 of the days must be available)

We provide a free shift meal every shift and 50% off when not working.
