Job Overview
We are beginning to look for a new addition to our front of house crew! We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast pace atmosphere with a strong background in hospitality and customer service. We have a small crew and are excited to welcome a new addition this summer. Pay starts at $17.50 but will include tips and we can provide estimates per hours worked.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently
- Take customer orders accurately and have a knowledge of menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and alcohol service laws
- Must be able to bus tables, take food orders, run food and perform all front of house duties during a regular shift
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests in fast-paced environments like brewing venues or restaurants.
