We will proudly open the 20,000 sq. ft. Alessi Bakeries Food Market a bold expansion featuring an expanded bakery, café, deli, woodfired pizza, and a full liquor bar serving guests dining on site.

Position Summary
The Bartender assists daily operations of the full liquor bar, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, efficient service, and welcoming guest experience. This role is hands on and leadership focused, supporting bartenders, maintaining standards, and acting as the primary point of accountability for alcohol service within the market.
The Bartender works closely with management to uphold Alessi’s legacy while helping shape a modern, elevated bar program for dining and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist daily operations of the full liquor bar, including opening and closing procedures
- Set the standard for responsible alcohol service and guest hospitality
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks to Alessi standards
- Train, coach, and support bartenders on recipes, service flow, and guest engagement
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and company alcohol regulations
- Monitor inventory, report shortages, and assist with ordering and organization
- Control costs, minimize waste, and meet sales and labor targets.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the bar area
- Collaborate with bakery and kitchen teams for seamless service.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and proactively
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
- Experience working in high volume or multi concept food environments
- Valid alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced setting
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Experience
- Background in hospitality driven, family owned, or legacy brands
- Experience supporting events or large format food markets
- Inventory tracking or bar setup experience
- Passion for quality, consistency, and guest connection
Language: Bilingual preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to bend, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds.
