CLUB39 is an elevated but approachable sports bar at Padel39 East Austin, where a craft cocktail program and a sport with serious momentum come together. We're opening in May 2026 and building the team that sets the standard.

Padel39 is a fast-growing multi-location padel club operator in Texas. CLUB39 is the bar program that anchors our East Austin location, and the people behind it represent what this brand is capable of.

The Role

As a Bartender at CLUB39, you'll work behind a full bar and execute a serious but approachable cocktail program in an environment where guests come to have a genuinely good time. You're a meaningful part of what makes that happen.

Our focus is linking genuine hospitality with expertly crafted cocktails, ensuring every guest feels welcome from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in a well-built drink and a welcoming interaction, and understands that bartending and hospitality are the same skill when you’re doing both right.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bartending or bar experience - at least one year preferred
• Warmth and genuine care for the guest experience - hospitality is a skill, not a personality trait, and we hire accordingly
• Working knowledge of spirits, cocktail technique, and bar operations
• TABC certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Reliable and organized
• Comfort with POS systems (we use Union POS)
• Experience with batched cocktail programs or frozen cocktail equipment is a plus

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve CLUB39's full cocktail program to build standard
• Greet every guest warmly and provide confident, knowledgeable service throughout their visit
• Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, and organization throughout the shift
• Enforce TABC compliance on every shift: responsible service, ID verification, and monitoring of guest alcohol consumption without exception
• Support frozen machine operation and batch program execution per CLUB39 SOPs
• Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists accurately and on time
• Monitor product levels and communicate low stock to your lead or management team
• Always operate in compliance with applicable Texas health, safety, and alcohol regulations

Compensation and Schedule

Pay: $9.00/hr plus tips (all-day CLUB39 tip pool, allocated by hours worked)

Hours: Availability must encompass all or part of 1pm-12am, with operating hours being Mon-Thu 2pm-11pm, Fri 2pm-12am, Sat 12pm-12am, Sun 12pm-11pm. Full-time and part-time positions available. Schedule to be finalized with GM upon hire.

PTO: Accrual begins at hire, rate increases with tenure

Benefits: Full-time employees eligible for medical enrollment - Padel39 covers approximately 50% of the employee premium. Dental and vision available at employee cost.

Start Date: Target May 2026 for pre-opening training and onboarding
