Job Overview

Cafe L’Europe in Palm Beach is seeking an energetic and personable Full-Time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities will contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Working in our fine dining setting, you’ll be making a perfect Martini as well as serving dinner at our very popular 24 seat Grand Bar.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and handling standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience
• Be familiar with Toast POS system
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and safety protocols
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bar
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals

Skills

• Proven experience as a highly proficient bartender
• Established clientele a major plus, especially experience in the Town of Palm Beach.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly while maintaining quality service
• Demonstrated ability in sales techniques to upsell drinks and promote specials effectively
• Prior experience in fine dining
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction calculations
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.64 - $26.06 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
